Fun with Word

Type "=rand(200,99)" in Microsoft Office Word (All Versions) and press Enter Key (Quotes for clarity). See what happens!!!

Some people call this a virus or a "loophole" in ms office. Rubbish.

Click AutoCorrect on the Tools menu, click the AutoCorrect tab, and then click to select or clear the Replace text as you type check box.

now try the =rand(200,99) trick. does it work?

this is because of it being a predefined function of syntax =rand(p,s)

where p is the number of paragraphs and s is the number of sentences that you want to appear in each paragraph.

and the sample text is simple dumped to the screen depending on the values of p and s
